at a time of day which is not nice. Then, getting to the airport from the north of the island may be difficult.

The problem with our Quatar flights were long transit hours in Dhoa on the way to Cape Town South Africa. We solved the problem in the same fashion, as we did now in Tenerife.

This is adventure travel with special holidays on the side, you know...

Yet, there are flight solutions or lets say that there is a way to let those flights remain as convenient as they were supposed to be. Indeed, this air travel may be just perfect.

A few days ago, my daugher gave me the gift of one of cheap flights Tenerife to come and visit her for a special day.

Actually, she set my mind spinning when I thought that there was a problem which required flight solutions.

My daughter suggested an airport hotel. That way I could still catch some hours of sleep to check in by 4.00 a.m. for my cheap flights to and from Tenerife.

I will see some more of a nearby Tenerife South airport park which I usually only spot from the bus. I'll skip any Tenerife Arona musical entertainment which is displayed there by a billboard, though.

I'll rather dip my toes into the powdery white sand of the
big beach of El Medano. I might spot its international fans who love windsurfing there at any time of the year.

I'll have the chance to check out an interesting seafood restaurant in a laid back nook by the tiny town of Los Abrigos. I may even climb Montaña Roja. This so called Red Mountain is right in the middle of a nature reserve.

If I didn't know Playa de las Americas, Los Christianos and Costa Adeje, I would add an other day or two to venture out there. Those tourist resorts are only 20 km from the hotel which my daughter booked.

Oups, there is a whee bit of a problem you can learn from...

In fact, I stayed over at the airport hotel Tenerife South airport of San Isidro which is straight up the hill from El Medano beach. Also it's only 5 km from the south airport.

I was considering the Tenerife beach hotel Medano Hotel and a couple of others as well, but the one of San Isidro was closer for catching my flight and worked out to be rather pleasant.
