So what's up with Iberia news for Spain from September 7th, 2013 onwards?
Iberia news haven't been exactly in the limelight for quite a while.
However, the newspaper La Opinion dealt with shrinking travel between mainland Spain and Tenerife again early in 2013.
It deplored less 223 Canary Island fligts per week since 2008. Then Span Air went bust, a little while ago. Also travel subsidies for Spanish residents seemed to have been ignored.
Now, you can select airline services by the Spanish carrier with three different tariffs.
Iberia latest tariffs
The Basic Tariff has similar conditions like EasyJet but is better somehow for € 20 more
where a handbag plus cabin bag with Iberia basic measurements of 56x45x25cm are allowed for free.
The Classic Tariff allows for seat selection in addition to basic conditions
The Flexible Tariff lets you also change your ticket and have it cancelled by paying &euro 60
Airline services by Iberia and their carrier partners

For example Madrid New York will employ American Airlines whose conditions may vary.
So are the competitive offers of Spain London flights in partnership with British Airways.

Is the Tenerife holiday home insider affiliated with Iberia?
No we are not affiliated whatsoever.
Not only tickets have become cheaper for domestic fares, island hopping and other European as well as international Iberia flights.
Off lately, we noticed Iberia news for cheap flight from London to Tenerife (TCI) from £ 170.
Then there were cheap flights from Tenerife to Spain, from €88 Round trip from TCI available.
Mind, prices are for ever fluctuating depending on dates, demand and supply and must be checked.
However, there is much hope for cheaper Tenerife travel from mainland Spain which include new airline services, indeed.
