Why Spanish

Mortgages in Spain and Tenerife may get a boost by new tax laws.

Support for mortgages in Spain has been proposed by Juan Costa Congress candidate of Spain's political party PP for Castellon.
These tax supports concern, of course, people working anywhere in Spain.

  1. No more tax due when signing for a contract of mortgages.
Reason: A person who applies for credit has no money and shouldn't be taxed for it.
  2. Taxes that are paid for and on behalf of persons which are called 'retenciones for IRPF' should be done away with regarding people earning less than EU 16000/year.
  3. Women should pay tax EU 1000 less/per year because of being disadvantaged in the labor market.
  4. Upping the minimum pension by EU 150/month.
  5. Municipalities should lower the value of land while some incentives are taken into consideration for autonomous regions in Spain.

In principle, those are nice and sound ideas to curb on property loans in Spain, again.

Regarding the first proposal I wonder how one is to know for sure that somebody who wants a mortgage is really not liquid? This could mean lots to prove for applicants and some head ache for those in government to decide on a new law.

As far as retenciones are concerned this should mean that the taxes for the IRPF of translators living in Spain need not be paid any more for and on their behalf by an agency who contracts work out to translators.

Spanish mortgages might get a boost if new tax laws should be implemented as suggested. This would of course also apply to the biggest of all Canary Islands which is part of Spain. Those are just a few more incentives to buy a holiday home in Tenerife for people working on the islands or in motherland Spain.

Even self employed people are often financially just scraping by nowadays.

Then, there are the couples that suffer equally because of divorce or separation.

And, not to forget are those that have lost their job because of the problems in building construction.

Please, go from mortgages in Spain to Tenerife mortgages.
