Better wild than an air pollution exposed pet parrot.

The pet parrot Lucy depicted below belonged to a late friend of mine. The parrot is a blue fronted Amazon by the Latin name amazona aestiva. This female bird which was named Lucy by her owner escaped from her home in La Quinta resort of Tenerife near the town Santa Ursula. By the way, this location is a mere 15 minutes drive from Puerto de la Cruz which is famous for zoo parrots.
Now, Lucy the pet parrot is likely to hatch one of parrot hybrids. Parrots which fly away from owners always contribute to endangered parrots. However, I am somehow sure that Lucy found a mate which taught her survival skills for wildlife in Tenerife. Unfortunately, parrot hybrids are a threat to thoroughbred parrots which face massive extinction, already. Once, I had an escaped parrot on my balcony. Hear the little, sweet romance of this parrot of a neighbor of mine of one of penthouses in Tenerife North by Puerto de la Cruz... Beloved Amazon parrot had to put up with air pollution:Lucy, my friend's dear parot is likely to be more happy, as my late friend was a chain smoker. Parrots or loros, as they are called in Spanish, hate cigarette smoke. So much to air pollution towards a loved bird, you know... By the way this blue fronted pet parrot from the Amazon may not have been 100% pure either, as she came from a pet shop. There are many subspecies which are the result of fly away parrots. Loro Park the parrot conservation foundation in Tenerife's oldest resort does its utmost to accommodate a stranded pet besides its main tasks for preservation. From pet parrot back to endangered birds which may be a Barbary falcon or Teno Alto doves, for example.
