Spain news, property news, are good Spanish news about abolition of wealth tax called Impuesto sobre el Patrimonio.

Spain News about recession relieve and abolition of Spain wealth tax were confirmed by www.elmundo.es, a Spanish newspaper.

Money shown by some bank notes Everybody knows that recession is a big threat. People fear for their money

A change of Spanish tax laws regarding wealth tax (impuesto sobre el patrimonio) was indeed introduced in August 2008 by an important government publication by Prime Minister Zapatero. It made Spain News all over the Spanish media.

The Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero supported wise measures to help the Spanish economy by abolition of certain taxes like the Patrimonio tax, at the time. Minister Zapatero also emphasized that this tax abolition would help fight Spain recession in 2009.

Wealth tax Spain called Impuesto sobre el Patrimonio which was also payable for a holiday home in Tenerife or for real estate Spain in general is now falling away.

The best Spanish news are property news, indeed; the latest tax abolition is for residents as well as for non residents.

What does the wealth tax abolition mean practically?

  1. No more Patrimonio tax due for Spain starts with January 01, 2008.
  2. The Tax Form 214 is now null and void.
  3. Only the Tax Form 210 will be needed in the future .
  4. Date deadline to hand in Form 210 is before the end of December every year.
  5. In Spain the handing in of Form 210 is only allowed to be done by banks.
  6. You will save money which may be little or very much. depending on the value of property which needed declaring before.
  7. The psycological impact by the abolition of this tax will prove to be amazing and will be positive for consumer spending
    in times of recession 2009.

Please, don't forget that you will never receive any invoices by the Receiver of Revenue Spain called la Hacienda to pay up. The law in Spain says that it's the duty of the people to inform themselves. That means you should approach accountants or tax consultants or consult the Spanish Media.

I received the official news by an email from my Tenerife consultants, recently.
