Add one more day of vacation to Tenerife holidays and dedicate it to weather.

Tenerife holidays are famous.

Really, and the winner is Los Realejos for the whole of Spain, as everybody knows.

Those vacations and celebrations must be important reasons, why the island has so many tourists.
This said means, it is not just a joke.

A few days ago, it dawned on me that such breaks are what island life is all about.

Oh, the whole world could learn from its philosophy.

Why would an unusual occasion cause Tenerife holidays where people of all age groups would hang out in cafés called cafeterias, such as at Bar Cafeteria Paraiso of Realejos, as depicted beside.

Or why not?

There was a long electricity power cut caused by heavy winds amongst other on November 29, 2010.

Everybody knows that bank holidays are the result of it.

But have you ever heard that it leads to shop and business holidays too?

It does, in La Longuera, Tenerife North.

Are you aware of School holidays caused by weather? Yes, those are unofficial Tenerife holidays.

When I was a kid in the cold Northern Europe, we had the occasional school break during a day of extreme heat in summer. Don't blame me that the latter sounds crazy...

That's when global warming all started, I am sure... Goodness, looking at my age this statement doesn't make sense!

It had business holidays like just about everything else in the road, except the bakery next to Paraiso Bar.

Perhaps, that's where the bar gets its fresh bread and bread rolls on Tenerife holidays.
Coming to think of it we must give much credit to this bakery. It's not cheap, but sells quality and hardly ever takes a vacation. It is open seven days a week which comes as a bonus for the Tenerife apartment called Panorama as well.

Anyway, on November 29 in 2010, I needed a hot drink for breakfast which I couldn't have at home.

The cafe or bar called Paraiso in my Road La Longuera had opened its doors very early.
It can cook coffe and make sandwiches with gas.

They didn't worry about adding up customers' bills by computer with or without gas. They made a plan.

The bar owners were expecting a grateful, cheerful crowd to start with. Paraiso Bar never lets you down. Doors said welcome before 8.a.m. No kidding...

They knew there would be school holidays caused by weather in Tenerife by Puerto de La Cruz Los Realejos.

Go to Paraiso Bar, which is the biggest in La Longuera ... Go there shortly after a storm which cut off all lights!

Marvel at the cosmopolitan mood inside this bar by both clients and staff...

Nevertheless, the Paraiso guests were clapping hands, when electricity returned. But hardly anybody got up.

You don't turn your back to Tenerife holidays that easily. It could mean party time. Perhaps, soon there will be one more of Tenerife fiestas.

It may be to celebrate bad weather, after all. while ancients cultures adored the sun.
