What about used clothes needing Internet marketing? Where find them offline?
Used clothes to buy do, in fact, profit from Internet marketing. Absolutely... Why? As far as European cities are concerned, only insiders know where to find them, on principle. Insiders also know, where to encounter novelty advertising strategies to advertise online, vital for any economy. However, the difference between countries where such garments have not been in vogue for a long time, is big.For some strange reason, Spain, never really seemed to have shown interest in buying used clothes. At least, not in my time. And, I am not young at all. Look at UK, Germany, Holland, France and Spain... Used clothes shop Berlin Berlin in UKDid you ever hear of this British shop? Find it at www.brownbook.net/business/199939/berlin-berlin... Berlin Berlin was rumored to have the fashion model Kate Moss as a customer for used clothes. The sale's lady told my daughter and me that Kate used to come by, back then in 1998, if I recollect the year well. It sure was a shopping gold mine, then. In UK and Germany, cheap advertisement or any online ads are much less needed for period clothing shops. There, such businesses have a rock bottom foundation. Those shops established a reputation long time ago. Hunting for vintage clothes, used designer ware and fancy hats from the 1930ies has been the hobby of many a woman right up to now. She has not been shy to wear 2nd hand, even when her budget allowed for spending more money. Shop by Hauptwache in direction old Opera House... There was and probably still is such a treasure chest in Germany. Sorry, I forgot its name. It was at 2,3 minutes on foot behind Hauptwache, Frankfurt/Main, in the 1970ies. French shops for vintage clothes...There were similar vintage shops for used clothes in Paris near the old Flea Market Marché aux Puces. Used fancy dress shops in Holland... A Dutch student girl told us about a shop for used attire, she knew in Amsterdam. She was digging an apartment together with my daughter in Bournemouth. Bournemouth is not only great for shopping, by the way. Little advertisement needed in Hippy days... In fact, the 2nd hand clothes business Spain is different. It needs advertising and marketing education. Spain, never really, had hippies like the rest of Europe and America. Ibiza Spain is an exception. The hippies made do with any clothes, as long as they looked crazy, romantic and colorful. I know, women in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Holland are not ashamed to buy used garments to wear. Most just don't tell you. The student girls in Bournemouth UK, for example loved the shops which sold them. One of them could always hide a newly arrived outfit of used vintage clothing for Halloween or passed on ballroom dresses for crazy parties. How the cookie crumbles in any economy... However, Spain and Spanish Tenerife must learn marketing to get word around to cause a new shopping fever. Used clothes shops are like intriguing museums but, grant you the privilege to buy. Business Spain will wake up, eventually. It will discover that specific used clothing may be like hitting el Gordo, which is a Spanish lottery ticket to win big time. And a shopper's paradise is at stake, you know... Meantime, such used merchandise would help the consumer of the Spain economy. Also, such a market could help fight recession. Why? Wouldn't regular shops, designers and dress makers lose out? Nope, not every woman will disclose her shopping secret and say, where she bought a fantastic, sexy vintage dress. It was the lady who sold her apartment last year. She was a compulsive shopper for used garments. She bought at all flea markets in the area for herself as well as for her sons. Ever time she went back home, she had to leave more of her own stuff in Tenerife. That way she didn't need to pay extra weight for her suitcase. She took all the used clothes bought, instead. Go from used clothes to cheap advertisement, a true Spanish story. Be warned, not a happy one... Back up to top?
